ABOUT US Aaron Starke: Aaron is 32 yrs. old and has been working around boats for many years. He has cut his teeth with the best boatwrights in the area. His specialty is in the refinishing area of restorations. Sanding, stripping, and disassembly of boats can be the most tedious and arduous tasks of the job, but the finished product only looks good if these jobs are done properly. Aaron works hard at spotting the problems to fix and produces a professional looking finish. He has some interesting projects ahead of him for this winter. Vernon Starke: Vern is 56 yrs. old and a retired Capt. of the Rochester Fire Dept. He started out working on duck boats for his duck addiction. He has been in and around water and boats all his life. Vern has always enjoyed using woodworking and carpentry tools, but he doesn't like square corners, that's why he likes working on boats. Vern's main contribution is in the sturctural part of boat restorations. His large shop is in Nicollet Mn. Call, email, or stop in at his shop, he's always ready to take a break and jaw.
Gary Hopp: Gary Hopp is 50 yrs. old. Gary's problem solving skills has saved the day many times. He helps on the family farms, does all sorts of carpentry, and, mainly for us, has excellent mechanical skill. He has a terrific work ethic and isn't afraid of doing all the diry jobs. He welds, brazes, solders, epoxys, and splits wood for the hungry shop wood stove. Every shop needs a guy like this around. |
